That someone is a captain. Captains are Musafirs who stepped up — the people who make sure a bus full of strangers leaves as a group and comes home as friends.
You do not need to be the loudest person on the trip. You need to care how people are doing, and take responsibility when it counts.
I joined as a solo Musafir and ended up with a wonderful friend circle. The captains always kept an eye on us and listened patiently.

A captain is not a tour guide. A captain is a host — responsible for how the group feels, not only where it goes.

How selection works
Step 1: Apply from your account
Tell us about yourself and how you would look after a group. Take it at your own pace — your answers are saved.
Step 2: We read every answer
The 3Musafir team who select captains read your application.
Step 3: A conversation
If we see a fit, the team gets in touch to talk.
Step 4: Your first trip
Once you are approved, we reach out when a trip fits, and you join the captain team with a clear role.

What do captains get?
Captains unlock free travel across Pakistan, a team to lead beside, and honest feedback that helps them grow.
Do I need to be loud or outgoing?
No. Captains lead in their own way, and a quieter style can do this just as well. We look for warmth, responsibility and an eye for how people are doing.
Will I be leading on my own?
No. Captains lead as a team, each with a clear role, with the 3Musafir team behind them.
Do I need a 3Musafir account to apply?
Yes. The application lives inside your 3Musafir account. If you are new, you will be asked to create one first.
Who reads my application?
Your answers are read by the 3Musafir team who select captains.
What if I am not selected this time?
Your application page always shows where things stand. When you can start a new application, you start it from the same page.
