3Musafir Referral Program

Referral Program Terms

The rules behind referral codes: who can refer, who counts as a referral, when rewards are earned, and how they are paid. For how it all works in plain English, see the Referral Program page.

Quick summary

  • Verified Musafirs can share a personal referral code with friends who have never travelled with 3Musafir.
  • When the friend completes and reviews their first trip, they earn Rs. 1,000 (domestic) or Rs. 5,000 (international) in wallet credit, and the referrer earns a reward set by their referral level.
  • All referral rewards are wallet credit under the Wallet Terms: they cannot be withdrawn as cash and they expire.

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern the 3Musafir Referral Program: who can refer, who can be referred, when rewards are earned, and how they are paid. They sit alongside the Wallet Terms, which govern the credit the program pays out.

2. Who can refer

You can share a referral code if your 3Musafir account:

  • has completed community verification;
  • is not blacklisted or restricted; and
  • is a regular Musafir account. 3Musafir superadmin accounts cannot refer.

Your code is shown in the Referrals section of your account once you are verified.

3. Who can be referred

A referral counts only for a first-time traveller. The person being referred must:

  • never have completed a 3Musafir trip, on this or any other account with the same phone number or CNIC;
  • not have used a referral code before (each person can be referred once);
  • not be the referrer, and not share the referrer's phone number or CNIC; and
  • not be blacklisted.

4. How a referral is made

A referral is linked to the new traveller either when they sign up through the referrer's share link, or when they enter the referrer's code on the booking confirmation screen. Once linked, it cannot be changed by either person.

If the new traveller cancels their booking, the referral stays with them and carries over to their next booking.

5. When rewards are earned

Both rewards are earned only when the new traveller completes their first 3Musafir trip and leaves a review of it. Nothing is paid at signup or booking, and the referral credit does not reduce the price of that first trip.

Whether a referral is domestic or international depends on the trip it is rewarded on. Trips outside Pakistan, or priced in a foreign currency, are international.

6. Reward for the referred traveller

Rs. 1,000 in wallet credit for a domestic first trip, or Rs. 5,000 for an international first trip. This reward does not depend on the referrer's level.

7. Reward for the referrer and referral levels

Your reward depends on your referral level, which counts your rewarded referrals including the one being paid. Your third rewarded referral, for example, is paid at the Certified Yapper rate. Rewards already credited are not topped up when you reach a higher level.

  • The Plug (1–2 referrals): Rs. 500 per domestic referral, Rs. 5,000 per international referral.
  • Certified Yapper (3–5 referrals): Rs. 1,000 per domestic referral, Rs. 7,500 per international referral.
  • Hype Machine (6–10 referrals): Rs. 1,500 per domestic referral, Rs. 10,000 per international referral.
  • Unofficial Spokesperson (11–25 referrals): Rs. 2,000 per domestic referral, Rs. 12,500 per international referral.
  • Cult Leader (26+ referrals): Rs. 2,500 per domestic referral, Rs. 15,000 per international referral.

Up to 5 people you referred on the same departure can earn you a reward. Everyone you referred still earns their own credit, but referrals past that number on one departure do not pay you or count towards your level.

8. Shared rewards

In some cases two Musafirs are involved in bringing in the same traveller, for example when a 3Musafir partner or creator referred them and another Musafir completed their community verification. The referrer's reward is then split between both, each receiving half of their own level's amount.

9. How rewards are paid

All referral rewards are paid as wallet credit in Pakistani Rupees and follow the Wallet Terms. In particular, referral credit cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash, transferred to another account, or used on trips priced in a foreign currency, and it expires at 00:00 Pakistan time on 1 January after the year it was issued.

10. Referrals that are not rewarded

No reward is paid for a referral where:

  • the referred traveller has travelled with 3Musafir before, including on another account;
  • the referred traveller was marked absent from the trip;
  • either person is blacklisted; or
  • 3Musafir finds self-referral, duplicate or fake accounts, or other misuse of the program.

3Musafir may correct or cancel a referral that was linked to the wrong person or obtained through misuse. Rewards already credited are reviewed under the Wallet Terms.

11. Changes to the program

3Musafir may change the reward amounts, levels, eligibility rules, or end the program for future referrals. The amounts on this page and on the Referral Program page are the ones currently offered. Changes never reduce a reward that has already been credited.

12. Other policies and governing law

These terms sit alongside the Wallet Terms, the Trip Registration Terms, the Refund Policy, and the Community Equity Framework. On how referral credit is held and used, the Wallet Terms prevail.

Pakistani law governs, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction.
